1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy is issued by Echelon Partners Real Estate L.L.C., a company established in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with offices at NGI Building, Dubai, UAE, and registered with the Dubai Land Department (collectively, "Echelon Partners", "we", "us" or "our").

We act as the data controller of personal data processed in connection with our real estate advisory and brokerage services.

2. Scope and applicable law

This Policy describes how we process personal data in accordance with applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "PDPL") and its implementing regulations, as well as relevant Dubai Land Department and RERA requirements applicable to real estate brokers operating in the Emirate of Dubai.

3. Personal data we collect

• Identification data: full name, nationality, date of birth, passport or Emirates ID details.
• Contact data: email address, phone number, postal address, messaging handles.
• Professional and financial data relevant to a transaction (source of funds, residency status, tax residence).
• Transactional data relating to property enquiries, viewings, reservations and purchases.
• Communications data: correspondence, call notes and meeting records.
• Technical data when you visit our website: IP address, device and browser information, and basic usage analytics.

4. How we use your personal data

• To respond to enquiries and provide advisory and brokerage services.
• To prepare, negotiate and execute reservation forms, MoUs, SPAs and related documentation.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, sanctions screening, and Dubai Land Department / RERA requirements.
• To manage client relationships, billing, accounting and record-keeping.
• To protect our legitimate interests, including security, fraud prevention and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

5. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the basis of the consent you provide, the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract you have entered into or are about to enter into with us, compliance with our legal obligations, and our legitimate interests, in each case as permitted by the PDPL.

6. Disclosure of personal data

We may share your personal data with:

• Developers, escrow agents, conveyancing offices and trustees involved in a specific transaction.
• The Dubai Land Department, RERA and other competent UAE authorities where required by law.
• Banks, payment providers, legal, tax and audit advisors.
• Service providers acting on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and data protection commitments.

7. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we implement appropriate safeguards consistent with the PDPL, including transfers to jurisdictions with an adequate level of protection or under contractual safeguards.

8. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Policy and to comply with applicable record-keeping obligations under UAE law, including those imposed on licensed real estate brokers.

9. Your rights

Subject to the PDPL, you have the right to:

• Request access to, and a copy of, your personal data.
• Request the correction, completion or update of inaccurate data.
• Request the deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Object to, or restrict, certain processing activities.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

You may also lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

10. Security

We apply organisational and technical measures appropriate to the risk to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.
